July 30th 2021: Two years ago Popeyes released a chicken sandwich which became an instant hit and, started a fast food war over who has the best chicken sandwich among all chains. Popeyes initially had trouble keeping up with demand for its chicken sandwich but eventually it solved that as the other chains introduced new improved versions of their chicken sandwich to compete.
It looks like Popeyes might fuel a new fast food war as it has just introduced chicken nuggets yes they briefly had them on the menu in 2012 but now they are back. Yes Popeyes had chicken nuggets in the 1980’s but the return of them features a whole new recipe.
The new chicken nuggets from Popeyes are now available in 8, 12 and 48 pieces although the kids meal also has a 4 or 6 piece option. The new chicken nuggets are getting good reviews with their light breading and, good quality white meat. Its too early to tell if the new Popeyes chicken nuggets will start a fast food war with other chains but i guess we will have to wait and, see what happens.
