January 1st 2023: In what might be a New Years change that many KFC fans might not like is the possible news that Popcorn Chicken could be leaving the menu at KFC. The report by The Fast Food Post says the item is being replaced by Chicken Nuggets made with all white meat.
Since it was introduced Popcorn Chicken has had a loyal following among many KFC fans including people that like the fact the smaller pieces are easier to eat. The new Chicken Nuggets would be available in 8, 12 or 36 piece packs. The Popcorn Chicken has been removed from the menu before and brought back so its possible that if it is removed it could return in the future.
